How we stay honest

Method and safeguards

Grade A or B. A mean grade from A to B- on the KCSE scale, for sponsored students, from 2026 term 2 report cards (77 students). CBC report cards use a different scale and are excluded. National average: KNEC, KCSE 2025, 166,154 of 989,125 graded candidates, 16.8%.

Entry scores. KCPE and KJSEA scores at recruitment, averaged across sponsored students: 366, range 276 to 408.

Money flow. School invoices are paid directly by the foundation. No cash reaches families.

Audits and staffing. An annual external financial audit, and a volunteer team with one part-time local employee, which is how overhead stays near 6%.

Student privacy. Portraits of the promotion are published small and never enlargeable, and we never publish a current student's school or home village next to their name. Alumni stories are shared with the alumni themselves.
